Had done my Digital Electronics, Programming and AutoCAD. Left PEEE lab which hoping to be easy :)
Sitex just ended. Didnt managed to buy anything from there cause no money..... I was tempted to buy Pentax KX DSLR which was selling quite cheap during the fair and the review was good.

Theres different colour for the body. Got red, Navy blue and White :)

Saving money either for this camera or a new desktop. (I can't use my desktop these day cause my Dad was hogging my desktop watching his drama using IPTV he bought from Sitex...)

Just have to endure next week bah.

Although just one day experienced but had fun today (referring to 21/11/2010)

Some of my wish fulfilled and was satisfied. It was enough for me. It's been a long while experiencing it and appreciated :) Movie, Food and stroll at Henderson Waves which i wanted to go for a very long time.

Okay after all the fun. Theres school again. Den MST (Mid Term Sems Test) which i haven prepared yet.

Upcoming event will be WRT. Still not sure my duty yet. Just sharing the promo video which done by RA:

2 weeks without updating and almost forgot that i have a blog to update.

Back from Philippines. Didn't managed to get any award but is a good experienced. Get to see many teams from different countries how they prepare their stuff and their robots. Maybe shall try next year which will be held at Adu Dhabi. First still have to clear the local competition before thinking about that.

After 2 days of the competition, the last 2 days in Philippines were being as a tourist. Right after the award ceremony, changed our hotel from Manila Hotel to Ocean Park's H2O hotel. Den took a trip to the famous volcano island at taai lake. Boat ride and Horse ride in the rain. Once reach the peak of the mountain. Quite shiok. Managed to take the photo of the sunset. Anyway all photos can be found on my facebook :)

Last day went to some some Manila's old settlement like Church and Fortress. quite unusual sight and learn some history. Den went to SM Mall (Biggest mall in Asia. 3 times the size of vivo) Only managed to shop a small part of the mall. Bought some shirts which was cheap and rushed back airport.

Get to experienced different style of living. True fact: the people there very polite :)

Aftermatch of the trip: I was sleeping for every lesson after returning to sg.

School work:

Math getting tougher and tougher, i can find more alphabet than numbers in the paper. Like taylor series and partial derivatives etc etc....

All the rest of the project like gg to finish soon except IE. Did an awful presentation on TWT module heh.

But i prefer this semester module. Structured Programming and CADD :)

WSS training, 70% i catch no balls. LOL. too hard to understand in one lesson.

Not much extra times? just that i will be resting instead of doing other stuff. The only stuff i rmb is i help CH build his com from scratch. Long time never assembled com from scratch other than my own one.

2. What the hell is wrong with you people. First you guys dont like to do this and i choose the right choice by not asking you people.

When i got a good rewards from the competition, you guys came back and ask me why never ask you join as well. I rebutted and you gave me a lame excuses. Please, we sacrifice our YOG break, Semester Break and some of our time on the competition. and you guys simply enjoy ur times by playing games. And u say I just show off after my trip. I just tolerate with your nonsense.

I rather boost my portfolio rather than spending time playing and reading theory stuffs.

I know I am lazy to update. Yeah been lazy to update recently hah.

Going to fly to Manila on Friday, which is a very early flight and going to be packed day.

Friday: Settled in hotel and start to prepare the stuff

Saturday: Competition which is whole day

Sunday: Prize Ceremony (Morning) and Sight Seeing of Manila (Afternoon)

Monday: Shopping and flight back to Sg.

Quite excited about the trip and hope we secure a good position in the competition which it was quite hard.

WSS training was very hard to follow. Made myself a RJ45 Straight cable which i keep redoing it over and over again due to unsuccessful attempt. (layman term it was called LAN cable which everyone of us is familiar of)

Learning some terms already very hard to catch up, like IP addresses, M.A.C addresses etc etc. Still got BGR story behind IP address from the learning resources. Lots of exam to take before taking CCNA certificate exam.

Lesson still alright just that lots of project coming up. IE2 projects, DE project, TWT project etc etc..... First think in mind. Bo Chap and kena stunk at backside later.

Thinking of building a desktop for myself since the price of graphic card dropping like mad due to the new release of ATI 68XX series Graphic Card. And I want play F1 game. My current desktop cant support the graphic of the game......

Back to weekly blogging.

First week of Sems 2 start. Not major changes have been made except different lecturers and modules.

First lesson of The World Today module was not bad, had some quiz, luckily I learn history during my secondary school. Or else those Cuban Missile Crisis and Stalin stuff i cant answer.

Going to learn basic C++ soon from structured programming. But the pace of the lesson is slow until......

Dip plus math getting tougher, now learning some series and sequences rule etc etc. Math is really getting like language paper. English got the grammar rule, math got their pattern rule.

Last week I had screwed my laptop while trying dual booting windows and ubuntu. Re-tried and it finally works, just that some bugs going on Ubuntu. Ubuntu really nice to use :D. Shall be using that when i am just surfing net and doing some coding stuff.

2 weeks more to WRO, just got some news which disheartened us but still have to go on. Quite anticipating the trip after competition, like backpack traveler going to take picture of Manila's famous volcano island and drinking their local brew coffee :)

Tomorrow having Worldskill PC networking training in school, hope the 4 hr training wun bored me.

Suddenly have a temptation to build a Small Form Factor desktop (desktop which look very small, like a huge shoe box) Anyone want build desktop feel free ask me. Actually i thinking of buying one budget desktop for myself and sell away my current one :D Sadly, I dun have the $$.

I am eyeing on Silverstone SG-02 casing :D:D:D:D

I choose to avoid for now. It might be good. Uncertainly........

Feel myself like a computer technician these days. Two days service 3 computers and quite sien about it too.

Nothing to update on weekends. Same boring weekends just that Sunday had a great buy from Carrefour roadshow. Western Digital My Passport Essential 500GB cost me $73. Thanks to my cousin who happened to promote for WD and help me reserve 2 pieces for me for MC and myself.

Den at night ran some rounds around stadium with usual people. Long time never exercise and stamina drop...

Monday:

Went to Sim Lim Square with Joseph and Yihao to shop for Joseph desktop parts. Went to a particular shop at 5th floor (quite near to my previous workplace) and bought the parts and ask the person to assemble there (i lazy to assemble myself and assembling skill rusty).

Seriously i like the Biostar motherboard i mentioned above, cause the colour quite nice and easily overclocked.

This time choose AMD platform is due to the budget he gave me and the processor mention above is a triple core processor. Can say on par or better than i3 processor depending on the model and usage.

But sort of dun like the service from that particular shop. Although the price is cheaper than other shops, but how they handle customer parts, trying to steal some components like SATA cable, CD driver and screws from joseph's desktop I am speechless. Luckily I was at the shop when the person is assembling and check every single parts, CD drivers and cable before leaving Simlim. To those who really idiot about Computers especially DIY desktop, please ask those who knows about this area before going to that particular shop and buy from them. Or else kena chop carrot then u know.

Also, I will not even patronize that shop again unless I am buying individual components from them.

Back to jo's house and put in another 80GB harddisk salvage from his old desktop as a backup hard disk. Spent 2 hours installing everything for him before i went home.

Return home still have to reformat and upgrade yy's laptop..

Tuesday:

Help pl to upgrade her desktop and return yy her laptop. Gossip quite alot and had my very full lunch. LOL.

Next 3 days have to go back school to prepare competition.... There goes my Semester Holiday :(

Past few days have quite a few activities going on.

Got back my result, didn't get the result i wanted but at least still good for me to sustain the result for 3 years perhaps.

Recent things I done:

1.Work for 2 days as traffic surveyor. Quite a slacking job found online and intro some of my friends. Sitting at one corner counting cars in/out of carparks

And gotten my salary from the job. At least had some money to spend on gatherings and upcoming trip at Manila.

2. Going back school to prepare for WRO

Discussing about the trip with the lecturer and we have decided to stay one more night at Manila for some sightseeing and shopping. Have to pay ourself for the extra night due to some reasons. Spending past 2 weeks modifying the robot which sort of broke local competition timing but international timing yet far from breaking it. Next week will be quite intense as got to learn how to build it in less than 1 hour.

International competition have to build and program the robot on the competition day itself, which local competition yet to build it on the spot before.

To add on, surprise rule will be added one night before. Sound intense :)

3. Gatherings.

This week like having three gatherings. DPA gathering which had Japanese Steamboat, class 4/4 "poly" gathering which had ice cream feast and 2/1 poly gathering at Seoul Garden. Cost me a bomb but long time have not catch up with lots of people. Esp some 4/4 people.

In poly for me, it's like lots of decision making have to be done.

Just received the email regarding about Worldskills (PC Networking) Team recruitment. Don't know should I join if I got selected by the lecturer in charge which i believe I may have higher chance of getting due to some internal reasons.

If I join, I get to learn everything inside out about computer which interests me, Operating system (esp on Windows server 2008, Linux and Opensource), how to setup server and do wiring for many routes to servers, learning how to do security for network and computer etc etc which i wanted to learn. Also get to take CCNA certification exam and with that, i can get into related industry with good starting pay and job prospect.

But I have to sacrifice my ITP (Industrial Training Programme) during Year 2 Sems 2 for Worldskills Training which does not relate to my course at all. Perhaps it may when i chose Computer module as my elective during my year 3.

Let's hope the chance drop to me as the training cost like 5 figures amount when learning externally and in Worldskills training, it cost me nothing in the team and more time to learn. Also, they only select like less than 10 people from the entire cohort.

After WRO, another decision making have to be made again. Should I work for the company as freelance trainer or just decline the offer.

If there's a MCQ question about decision making, I would prefer a question with 4 options rather than a question with 2 options.

4 option question:

If it is the right choice, I will be very happy as i got the 25% chance right

If it is the wrong choice, I still can blame at the 75% to get it wrong

2 option question which usually yes/no true/false Go for it/Wait for it type of question:

If it is the right choice, I won't be that happy as i only had 50% to get it right, or maybe pure luck?

If it is the wrong choice, i cant blame on the 50% to get it wrong, blame myself for not choosing the right choice, or maybe my own luck?

By this time i should be sleeping but can't sleep when i lie down on bed. So decided to update my blog and blog about some stuff :)

Should i just say yesterday since already pass 12am.

Finally my right arm was un-cast at Thursday. But still can't do any physical activities like carry heavy stuff. Hope really can recover and back to normal. Kinda worrying whether it will not be like last time.

Went back to school's usual lab to discuss WRO preparation stuff for 2 hours. One thing I like about the competition and the trip, everything was FULLY sponsored by Science Centre (Finally get to sponsor by them which is F**king hard and Really emphasizing the F**king FULLY!) First time my competition and oversea trip was everything sponsored. Including my air ticket, accommodation (it was 5-star hotel stated at the website), transport and FOOD (although mostly is hotel food).

Bad thing, might have to rebuild entire robot due to the nature of the competition. Shall not be too technical as i know some reading sure get bored.

After discussion, lunch and chat at FC4 with WRO ppl. Guess we got to stay together in hotel room for 3 days. Let's hope the lecturer wun sleep with us.

Went back to JSS again for Junior's farewell. Had some "fun" and dinner with the some usual juniors at Subway and laugh at some "subway's virgin". Return back home and rest.

Finally get to play com game after being cast for one week! At least I won't be bored during the holiday..

Time to post something technical and experience stuff. If any of my junior read this, encouraged to read and discuss among ourselves. Just dun discuss with "sensitive teachers".

Winning any robotic award in Secondary school is totally different from winning any robotic award in Polytechnic.

Let's talk about winning an award in secondary school.

From what i heard from those doing robotic in school and my own experience, what's our reward from clinching award?

1. Getting CCA points

Definitely lah but bloody hell the stupid CCA system only take the highest award which i find it dam bloody stupid, what if people winning many awards from the same particular competition and joining the same competition for many years? The system just bloody take the highest award points. There are so many different awards in robotics and how the hell they going categorized? I rmb my Judges Award don't even get recognized at all by the system. Same to those of my friend who win some awards but didn't show at CCA cert at ALL.

2. Getting recognized

Please lah. All those Sports, Performing Art or Uniformed Group win awards will get recognized from the school, even those tiny awards and trying to blow trumpet like very hard to win. When me or even my friends from other schools won robotic awards in school, majority of the population dun even F**King care and some people just say: "Chey, robotics nia. Just some stupid robot do this and that, fun meh?" Eh please lah, is not easy to do programming and construction to complete a task like throwing a discus. FYI, it is not easy to make the robot MOVE EXACTLY 100% COMFIRM STRAIGHT. Those who participate various competition should know what i mean.

Also, even the school website and magazine don't even update the awards my CCA won. It's kinda frustrating when u won the awards and still not updated. Those from my sec school, go check the school website >> CCA >>( my CCA to those who know). And TADA! Still at F**King year 2007??!! I see these since year 2008 and still not updated. Same goes to school magazine. Where the hell does all my awards won from 2007 to 2009?? U go see other CCA page, their accolades were updated and nicely spell.

3. Treats

Finally a positive part, CCA teacher in charge get to treat us for major awards won. I really appreciated from the teachers. Although sometimes me and my juniors were trying to "force" teacher to treat us, but i guess the teachers also see our hard work and treat us for doing well in the competition. Thanks to those teacher who have treated me. I still remember the crystal jade treat from ms lam :)

I know I use the word F**king lots of time. Okay i think i will stop using:)

Finally let's talk about winning an award in polytechnic.

1. Getting recognized

Go to SP website and you will see the photo familiar which is identical to the group photo I have posted (to make sure the date of the website i refering will be 25/9/2010)

About half a page long article and list the awards our team won.

Also go to school of EEE page, you will see a catchy topic and you will see familiar group photo again and also half page article with video.

Compared the recognition I got from polytechnic and Secondary school, very different isn't it?

At least we are proud what we winning from the competition and show others what we won.

2. The attention

The "attention" i got from competition by representing my own tertiary school is different from when i represent secondary school. When I run my robot during trial or actual run, automatically cameras are up, lots of eye will be looking at me and the robot. Cause of the T-shirt SP and majority of the people in the field knew teams from SP definitely will do very well and have high expectation on them which I found it true lately. U go see SP awards in robotics and engineering if you don't believe. Winning local and international competition

Compared to when i was running my robot representing my own secondary school, nobody even care last time, i don't about now due to the fact during my year did shock some teachers from other schools and trainers asking which school me and my juniors from. Yeah i agree that my sec school's robotic is improving but it will be very hard (impossible) to be better than those school niche at that field. That's the truth due to how much funding and resources is pump into the CCA.

Compared:

My sec school: One small bio room with 12 lego sets shared among 40 CCA members and limited budget

My tertiary school: 2 big computer lab with god knows how many lego sets shared among less than 6 members and god knows how many budget decided by the lecturers, director and principal.

Vast huge different!!!!

3. Acknowledgement

Although our team have not been treated by any lecturers for lunch or dinner, but heard there will be some talking session with director and lecturers about our experience. And just get to know some stuff about Worldskills from my lecturer in charge since his in charge of it which I quite keen to join. It is not easy to get in the Worldskills team which heard the training cost is roughly 5 figures number. Let's hope the chance drop to me LOL.

And if u have read some of my previous post, I was ask to be trainer for pri/sec schools but still in a dilemma to join the company.

Just share my experience and those juniors who happen to read my post, talk with me and perhaps discuss how to make the CCA better etc etc.

Finally exam over and now typing blog entry with just using one hand cause i have injured my right arm at chalet. miss the 2nd night at the chalet..

Lots of people have been asking me how I injured.

Answer: i rode my bike too fast on a smooth road and suddenly just slip and fell off. 6 wounds plus a fractured right arm. thanks those who concern and sms me how well am i. really appreciated.

Sigh suppose to work during the holiday but at this state.... anyway have to go back school to prepare for WRO (World Robotic Olympiad) soon and wish i can recover before the competition.
Feel like saving lots of money to take driving lesson and test...

Finally the competition is over and I finally get a award after participating for 6 years.

SP teams total won 3 awards:

Best Robot Performance Award: Gold (Desmond team)

Best Robot Performance Award: Bronze (My team)

Best Mechanical Award: Silver (Combined team effort)

Congrats to RV teams who won both division championship and tons of awards.

Anyway to my previous secondary school JSS, although you guys didn't get into finals and didnt managed to get to top 3 for sumo, but try harder next year. But first the CCA members in the club do need change their working attitude. Especially some juniors who still dun wish to do their work seriously.

After competition ate buffet with RV people and sort of celebrating the awards. Went home and rest bah.

Maybe finally have a chance to compete in WRO which i wanted to do that for a very long time too. This year will be at Manila in Philippines.

Tomorrow going to study soon. PEEE test on monday SHIT! Havent been seriously studying that, especially Biopolar Junction topic argh!

Sort of having a dilemma now, just right after my competition. Was being approached by a new founded company to become a trainer to train and teach other pri/sec school robotics. Thats what i wanted to do for my part time but not sure whether to join them or wait.. Or just concentrate on learning other platform of robotics.

Diploma Plus math and Engineering Math exams are over. Had a few careless mistakes and there. Just hope to get a good grade thats all :)

Anyway got my interview result, I was officially get into SPOT program and meaning I have to take compulsory GEMs which is The World Today Module. Although abit unfair to those DPA student but get to learn more knowledge about the current affair. Guess have to write tons of essays soon, just like sec sch geography and history paper.

Didn't know one of the selection panel for SPOT was actually my competition lecuter-in charge. Out of sudden suan me and shoot me paper ball for getting into SPOT without him knowing when we were discussing about some stuff in the lab. Good thing is i didn't get interview by him :)

Went to see my junior's competition before going school for exam. Some groups done pretty well for their mission 1 and not sure about their mission 2.

Tomorrow will be tertiary run. Hope I won't screwed up this time round and last chance to prove something. eSPrEEE and spEEEdy.

Some people say precious memories meant to keep, how i wish wonderful memories can be erase permanently. Or treat it as a bad memories.

How i wish memories can be stored like computer RAM, immediately store and delete instantly. Sometimes i rather be like that.

Finally some stuffs are over.

The SPOT interview with course director was rather okay, just wait for the interview outcome with my classmates.

Competition presentation was over. Our group was shortlisted for video and mechanical awards and went back to SSC on Saturday. But somehow I screwed some part of the presentation but still hope can win something from non-robot performance side, especially the video which spent lots of time doing it.

To add on, the temporary disrupt service between JE and clementi service spoilt my day. Luckily when returning home, our lecturer in charge brought us to the nearest non affected station. Had some chatting with one of our lecturer in charge during lunch at commonwealth kofu. Brought us there and start to talk all sort of thing from army to driving. Maybe I can start saving money for driving theory and test :)

Today had dinner with family at JP to celebrate my dad bdae. Then met up with MC and drew at usual place playing bball. Long time didn't play and stamina drop like... nice game with the adults.

Settled down at gek poh, drink some stuff and started talk cock. From vodka, cigar, chalet,exam, passport, bunsen burner, ice........... for 1 hour then go home.

Just realised i didnt go comex, wanted to buy external hard disk and X-mini speaker but thanks to the MRT disruption and doesn't have enough cash. Have to work soon :)

Actually nothing much to update.

First of all, thank you to those who wish me during my birthday and those giving me present. Plus some people wanted to bash me in class but still failed during lesson.

Today had program design lab test and stay at fc5 catch up with classmates what we are going to do during the sems break.

Went back my alma master, nothing much interesting about the schools changes as I have been going back every Friday to help out my juniors. Only difference is that get to see more familiar faces, ex-classmates and friends :) And finally get back my testimonial after having sent back to MOE HQ for editing.

Have some chatting session with the guys during eating lunch. Then back home slack for the whole day.

Shall post my upcoming event here since duno what to post. Kinda screwed up? I think?

It is a flu season recently i guess? People around me having flu and i got the flu too. Which i didn't attend my CCA training today.

This few days as usual preparing competition. Technical side had finished preparing, just hope won't screwed up on that day. Presentation side was still have lots of thing to be done which we don't feel like doing at all. Our lecturer-in charge wanting us to do presentation in a different way after he had attended a conference for the past few days, which just using drawings to present our ideas. He was trying to throw what he had gain from the conference to us by telling his story and showing the video for 1 hr+. Trying to make a complicated idea into simple idea using visual. We have been bombarded by too many complicated or bizarre ideas which we always think too much even though the task is so simple. I have to agree with that. Even the simple 5Ws and 1 Hs (Who What When Where Which How) we can't immediate think out of it on a particular theme.

Although people can make complicated thing into simpler, but keeping things simple can be complicated. Just like solving a math trigo equation, by proving the equation can be quite hard but the result is just freaking few numbers.

But after our lunch break and trying to draw something on the lab's whiteboard for like 1 hour. Our team decided do technical stuff again and did something stupid by putting cameras on NXT to take video when doing the runs.

I am going to talk about robotics stuff and lots of negative remarks on some stuff. just to warn those readers who sure get bored when reading it.

When me and desmond were on our way back home, why do we have to do research presentation at most of the competition which is !robotics! competition. I do have to emphasize the word robotics.

Since past till now, I still freaking don't understand why robotics competition have to research about global warming, climate changes, biodiversity etc etc. Does it really related to robotics. If is yes definitely related to industrial robots when we are out to work and having project with environment agencies to tackle environment problems.

IN fact, the robot that these few competition i have been participated does not even help the environment at all. We are just given a particular mission, build a robot, program a robot expect to get as many points as possible to win awards and get experience from failures and other competitors FULL STOP. Thats what robotics competition all about.

Okay but these 2 particular competition (those who know me well should know what are the competition name which i dun wish to mention as i am sick of mentioning). In order to win the championship award, have to do the bloody research presentation.

Teams that have won the championship award usually have solid presentations, good team work bla bla bla. But there are teams which i dun really think they should get that award in the past. When i see their robot and their score, they are just not here for robotic competition at all. Just getting as many awards as possible in non-technical side which many teams at past few years are trying to do that. Robot scoring zeroes yet getting tons of soft skill awards. Den the organizer in the first place should not name it as a robotic competition, might as well name it a project based competition instead.

Also, the surprise mission came out by the organizer to determine who will quality to represent Singapore which i felt was one bad decision made by them. Teams who did badly during the preliminary round but eventually won at surprise mission at the finals and get to represent Singapore to compete in WRO (World Robotic Olympiad) Yeah they do have the skill to manage surprise mission but what's the point? WRO's mission was based on preliminary mission. That's why Singapore team always bring back nothing after going competitions other than SP who won silver at 2 years back.

I do hope the organiser will try to keep surprise mission as the same base field as prelimary mission as near as possible. Not totally change the entire field by swapping field with other division. WRO's surprise mission was based on prelim field too. Why not just bloody follow WRO.

One more, WTF WHY STILL LIMIT US THOSE SPECIFIC PARTS WE ARE USING. Cant we just any lego parts which WRO allowed? For example wheels, we are only supposed to use one type of wheel. Wheras other countries competition they can use what ever wheels they have as long as is lego parts.

Hope this year wun be screwed up as it really my last year of participating.

Don't know what to update. Just get back my Omnia2 from service centre. Updated my firmware and i kinda like the new firmware. New classic theme and much faster:)

Done some online shopping these past few weeks and hoot 2 items and i am kinda broke now.

Phiten Darvish Yu High End Necklace, i bought it from Hardwarezone Mass Order (cant be bought locally and it is imported from JAPAN) Just like the design but cost me a bomb. Hope what it claims do benefits me (like improve blood circulation and relieve shoulder ache. Should try this for 1 mths and hope it really works.

Another hoot, SoundMagic PL-21 which i got it from Vr-Zone Mass Order. Sent through normal postage as I always cant find a time to meet the seller. (busy preparing competition).

Soft pouch, and all the accessories which i do not need all of them. But still worth the money.

Had been trying this earphone for 1 weeks. Kinda nice to use. Sound isolation and very bassy earphone which i like the BASS. For those who like bass, this ear phone definately big bang for value. If anyone prefer balanced sound, should try SoundMagic pl-30 or pl-50. Ultimately, it relative cheap and there's one year of warranty :)

Finally start on my competition stuff from Tuesday onwards.

Although initially I don't like the way our competition's lecturer in-charge, but slowly i get to like the style he trying to do with us. Let's hope he won't see my blog but who knows he know how to search till here. (I think he is a senior lecturer in computer engineering)

Let's talk about the negative part first.

1. Finding that lecturer was really hard. He didn't leave his contact number to us and he has a very busy schedule. Also his office is somewhere secluded. I rmb i find him like 2-3 times at his office and didn't managed to meet him.

2. He is stubborn. (probably because of his age and the experienced he got). Still rmb during the DPA's Program Design Module. He keep insisting us to do his method and saying that NXT-G is better than robolab when me and Desmond trying to convince him. (In fact in my opinion Robolab is better as require lesser memory, much faster, more function and base on coding)

3. No specify instruction was given. I dun even know who my group is right now? How the heck am i going to start with video presentation and research. (Although i dun do research hah)

Now to the positive part:

1. He make sure that we have the most conducive environment to work on (the whole T933 and T934 lab is totally ours despite theres only 5 person excluding the lab tech and lecturers) And on the Hi-Fi for us to listen to the radio. Not trying to say my previous school not good. 30 over people PLUS 2-3 playing fields squeezing one BIOLOGY lab. Okay lots of my friend from other school laugh as my secondary robotics actually done in biology lab with numerous sinks around for us to "wash" the NXT? HAH

2. This maybe because of the school resources. We are allowed to use UNLIMITED amount of parts. And I really must emphasize the word UNLIMITED. Back to Primary and Secondary. The parts were really limited although JSS (my secondary sch) bought 10 sets of NXT. But still not enough for 6-8 teams to participate the competition. I still rmb I have to borrow from one primary school for parts.

Imagine my secondary school have 10 sets and send 7 teams as compared to SP sending TWO teams with don't know god number of sets available. This made whole lots of difference.

The unlimited of parts made me trying to build a bot with 6 motors to do the tertiary mission which I am still working with it.

Plus EACH of us was given MORE than 1 sets to build. Not each group ar.

3. This is the one i respect the lecturer-in-charge, although he still stubborn at times. When it comes to decision making, he will do it right on the spot unlike my previous teacher in-charge( i think those my secondary classmates know which teacher i am referring to). When we were like casually mention whether should we book a timeslot in SSC whether to try out the playing field. He was positive about it and after 5 mins later, instead of email, he went to call the organizer (i dun want to mention that place as i am sick of it) to book the timeslot and immediately a positive repy, which i think he made right decision. From past experience, that organizer will took 2-3 bloody working days to respond. Sometimes even one word answer if email regards to FAQ or other miscellaneous stuff.

And the next day, he and his assistant drove us there and try the field.

Although he is not a mechanical lecturer, he still give useful (although some are ridiculous) suggestion on how to improve the mechanism. Perhaps his curiosity made him anxious about these stuff.

4. One last thing I like, although we are still not split in any group. The working team were those on the task going that kind and help one another. Unlike secondary school which i am sick of mentioning again. (doing for the sake of some stupid points)

I finally can say. Finally a good team to go for competition which anticipating since last time. Still miss secondary school times which able to joke with teachers, batchmates and juniors. HAH.

Finally the start of 3 weeks of break. Unfortunately I still have competition (which haven't even started) and prepare for semester test.

All those assignment from Program Design, Introduction To Engineering and Digital Electronics finally finished. Compared to other courses esp business, engineering seems clear all the projects.

Now my body esp shoulder and stomach still aching after CCA training on wed. 200 sit-ups, 100 push-ups with tuck jump and some other cardio training. Aftermath of not going training for 2 weeks. HAH.

Friday after school had some fun with my classmates. Played pool at SP Guild House and DOTA at Food court 5.

Late evening met up with Feng and Lexus at town, searching for places to eat our dinner. From Somerset 313 to Far East Plaza and ate at Far East. Then walk all the way to Orchard Plaza's kopithiam had some drinks. Chat alot of stuff like our previous workplace employer's background, How to make Computer Server, financial management and bla bla bla

Thanks for Feng recommendation which he got the idea from one hokkien song, mix a portion of Heineken to a cup of coffee. It was actually nice but don't know whether will it hurt stomach.

Really talk a lot and walk to Plaza Singapura. Took train home.

Today weekends stay at house all day. Watch drama, take nap and went for guitar lesson. Finally get the bass right and the teacher was in a happy mood which played 2 classical song on my guitar which i still remember the tune.

Tomorrow going to pay a visit to my grandparent house. have to change my phone's screen protector soon.

There are some people drink alcoholic drink to forget the past whereas there also people drink to remember the past. Initially I wanted to drink to forget, but as the time goes. I wanted to drink to remember but certain parts of the memories I cant seems to retrieve back.

Few months back I thought i was being a temporary character, as the environment blended each and every day. It slowly becoming permanently. Perhaps the 3 weeks break can bring back that identity. Maybe.....

Had Japanese test after math lecture, i am happy by just getting a pass.

This few days after school either play pool, play laptops, do lab assignment with classmates.
Sigh I have skip 2 CCA training and missed the grading. These few days eat a alot without exercising, training going to be tough for my body :(

I am quite looking forward to this Friday. Going to meet up with my ex-colleague from Simlim square, Feng and Lexus. I bet Lexus has lots of cock to talk about his current work and do his "basketball" stunts.

Saturday:

Went for challenge announcement at Singapore Science Centre. Saw some of the juniors and get to know our mission. This year tertiary challenge sound easy but.... Climb 2 pole and difficult to predict whats the surprise mission as there's just 2 pole =.= Secondary mission sound still okay and have to brainstorm for ideas.

Sunday:

Evening suppose to play basketball with MC,MH and Andrew. In the end all of us play LAN instead due to nobody in the court to play with and the weather was unbearable.... Then talk cock session at Macdonald and keep "suaning" someone dropout of school.

School days:

Nothing interesting just that i have been going moberly with classmates playing pool for consecutive 2 days. Hunt that lecturer to ask him something about competition, finally found him and told me something which i totally speechless. Plan plan plan and plan.......... Plan until duno when.....

IE assignment, DE assignment,Program Design, Diploma Plus math hyperbolics equation........ That what i am worrying now.

CCA training? Train kicks and elbows. Now then realise my left leg kick was totally "bo lak". Have to train on my left leg....

Finally school reopen.

First week of school, the lecturers just refreshing our memory. Just like a Handphone flashing it's ROM. Hmm just that after holiday i feel like dont want to do anything.

Finally that lecturer reply me, went for the short briefing. I think i will be participating the usual competition this year for tertiary division with Desmond. Just wish i dun screwed up like what I did in secondary school again.

Weekends:

Rushing DE assignment, went to joseph house to check his com, ate buffet with my parents and rest at home :)

Holiday going to end pretty soon. I really slacking for this holiday.....

I was doing my CIP at Robocup. Get to see many interesting robots and remind me the days when i still participating NJRC, RGP and FLL. I am still waiting for that lecturer's email regarding NJRC... Get to see juniors participating for robocup dance category. It's alright not to get itno final. you guys tried your best :)

Being referee for robocup junior soccer was..... no comments. Lots of arguments especially at the third day. But that particular really deserve to win. Cool air pressure to shoot the ball and some team do deserve to get into the finals.

Thursday met up with old primary schoolmates; Ming He and Yu Heng. Keep suaning Ming He "quit" school. (He give up on JC education and decided to go poly) okay side track abit. Not trying to say JC education sucks. From my point of view, 60-70% of what JC ppl learn wont be used in their career. What the hell are they going to use calculus if they are going to non-engineering sectors? What the hell are they going to use cheeemology Econs if they are going to engineering sectors? School rules totally ridiculous. PW which dun seems like project work to me, always kena reject by teachers just because not original and creative? Plus only one presentation to boring teachers. I am not trying to stereotype lah.

Ate our lunch at JP pepperlunch, walk JP and back home rest.

Friday, met up with previous PCshow workmates. Played pool for freaking 3 hours, ate dinner at Pizzahut and played arcade. Enjoy myself :)

Today, slack at home, doing projects and assignment, played basketball with Ming He at usual court. My stamina sucks to the max thats all. Next CCA training i sure gg cause skip one training leh.

These 2 weeks sort of equivalent to a month for me.
Mid-Term semester test:
First time feel that engineering math is harder than my dip plus math. Whole class stun about some questions. The rest of the test still alright bah.Working at PCshow:
Get to know many joke colleagues, same still with Feng it is really a good experience especially it comes to de-brief. Although it does not sound good but totally make a lot of senses. That's life. Anyway i still miss the time where we shout 1 ,2 ,3 and scared away the customers.
About my sales for PC Show, no comments due to some reasons....The time where all of us sit on the floor at the train talk so loud like nobody business. look forward to the gathering which i dont know whether i can go due to Robocup.
Holiday week:
Aftermath of PC Show= Sleep till damn late. Okay to come not that late cause only till 11am. For me considered late la. Went out to look at some stuffs and sleep.

It's been one week since last post. I think my blog kinda dead and dun expect alot of ppl to read too. If u r reading please leave a tag, at least I know there's people reading :)

Actually there's math and Japanese tutorials to do but seriously sien of doing it.

Now my math was a complete disaster? Engineering math still alright. When it comes to Dip plus math, 70% don't know what the hell is it for? Limits & Continuity of Functions, Relations and Function which mix modulus, trigo, range, graph. Even engleng also blur with me.

Recent Japanese quiz confirm 0 for me. Don't know how to write a single word in harigana (Japanese word) Have to memorize all the words and simple terms. I guess half the class blur with me when the lecturer is not using romanji (english helping word) to pronounce the word.

Going to have my first PEEE and DE lab test soon. PEEE lab test is nothing, same as Olvl SPA but DE lab test i kinda anticipated. Different IC chips like 74SL00, 74SL04 bla bla bla. All the different type of Gates.

Jeet Kune Do training finally can really punch on something and going to miss next session due to camp.

All the rest of the module still the same. And still got that ONOW which sound so nice yet....

Tomorrow having CCA training and have to buy handwraps, groin guard and mouthpiece. One thing to conclude. And CCA camp on this friday. Hope this time round got nightwalk around campus :D:D:D

I am still considering whether should i approach that particular lecturer recommend by one of my seniors, to participate various competition like worldskills, SRG, Robocup. I do wish to participate for Worldskills and test how well can I do.

There's still FOSTER and NYAA program to do which gg back JSS to do some stuff.

When we are in holiday, one week seems very long. But once school starts, the one week just fly without u noticing.

Lesson getting interesting and learning more new stuffs. DE learning Logic Gates; OR, AND, NOT, NOR, NAND gates. And Raj still joke why no Bill Gates =.= PEEE finally does not bored me, thanks to grounding.

To those who think presentation in front of class in secondary school really want your life, wait till u come to poly and u will be glad that your secondary school train u well. Esp RP which one of the lecturer says. During actual presentation have to wear formal attire and proper speech and posture.

But most of us still like TCS Module which allowed us to talk crap. Real crap but relevant. Esp when it comes to a topic.

"JC students are trained to do test paper with a higher chance to get into University, Poly students are trained for the particular industry and practical skill."

Most my classmates including me agreed. This maybe one of the reason why all of us are not in JCs. FYI 80% of my class are eligible in JC, theres one even can go the JC with the score of how many fingers we have in one palm.

PEEE practical like Olvl SPA practical just that the battery change to PSU, Voltmeter and Ammeter change to those digitals one and resistor with colour codings. Calculate the tolerance bla bla bla.....

Math really kill us. Thats all I can say. De Morgan Theorem which also apply to Logic Gates.

Although get to know new people everyday, I got contact with my long lost childhood friend who i know since K1. We always not in the same school from pri to sec sch, but finally the same institution. Walked home together from JP to GekPoh and seems have alot to chat. Hope next time can meet up too.

Today after school prepare presentation with my IDEAS group, then went to play Band Hero at Moberly with some of my classmates. Tons of fun and kena forced to sing. I cant play with those music with high pitch song lah.

Went for Jeet Kune Do session with CH and EL, learn some foot step and drill. Ate dinner in school and went back home.

Don't be shock to see me at JSS from June onwards, I maybe going back to teach some robotics stuff. Upcoming event will be Robocup as helper and NJRC which I still thinking whether should i join this year?

Whats the point of memorizing all the definition and elaboration of the particular stuff? Next time during work we still can refer these from the the source around us. Thats what computer and internet are for. Also, technology keep on progressing and what we are memorizing the stuff now, it will be obsolete in 3 to 5 years time ( take for example the music player and game console) This is the 21st Century which we have to adapt to the environment we are working quickly and derived solution in the shortest time. Just my thoughts :)

Finally got my fluke multimeter and the tool sets which cost bloody expensive. But the equipment looks rather cool. Cant wait to use those equipment during practical, measuring the amount of voltage, current and resistance of the circuits and IC board.

PEEE lectures still as boring. Re-teaching Physics Olvl stuff. Just waiting until week 4 as the lecturer will be teaching new stuff. Digital Electronics basically still at ONE and ZERO. Those 1 and 0 can make really make us crazy. Convert between Decimals to Hex to Octal to BCD to Bin. Esp during DE practical, get to connect circuit and using binary system to create the numbers on the LED. Some of our classmates was playing with the TTL and increase the frequency to prank the lecturer =.=

ONOW the propaganda module is the only module i think we no need to study for. TCM ( Teamwork Communication Module) which can crap dam lots. Only sien part is that me and Byron was called upon to perform an interview for the class because we did very well? But still kudos to SH and Herman which cause alot of commotion during their performance.

Program Design..... Taking this module for the 2nd time and i swear I will get either A or Distinction for that module. But sort of forget how to use that Alice animation software.

I have chosen my CCA. Hope i wun regret about it and definitely new experience for me which I never done before. And Wednesday have trials for another CCA.

Oh ya forgot to talk about the japanese lesson I had on monday. My dip plus math lesson ended at 5.30pm and suay suay that day extended to 5.45pm. Being a good student, once Quek Jie dismissed the class, I immediately rushed from T15 to T21 and heng when i stepped in still introduction. When the lecturer asking who have difficulties coming on time, I like the only one raised my hand and the lecturer asked me how long u need to reach here?

My replied: " Ran is 5 min, Walk is 10 min."

Lecturer: "So u just now walk or run?"

(Dam obvious cause I am sweating like mad and fanning myself with the Japanese Textbook although the aircon was full blast)

Me: "The 5 min one"

Then the whole class laugh.

Lecturer: "Oh, so I allowed u to late for 10 minute"

Phew just hope my lesson wun dragged till 5.45pm again. Or else sure screwed upside down again.

Thursday and Friday after school played bball with classmates at SP. Then friday night played bball again with MC and Andrew. My whole body ache like siao LOL.

Finally one week of school is over. Overall kinda fun and interesting. Just that abit slacking for now. I realised i havent update about my OFFICIAL poly life (not PPP program)

I have been spending quite alot in poly recently. On foods, transport and TEXTBOOK. Some of my classmates wondering why we have to buy textbook since we have our laptops. And it was freaking expensive.

Principal Of Electronic and Electrical Engineering TextBook: $32

Digital Electronic Textbook: $42

Calculus Textbook (for my dip plus): $55.50 and is freaking damn thick and it is heavier than my textbook. If theres day i have to bring both my textbook and that textbook at the same day, totally GG!

Plus those from EEE school, this week have to buy toolset consist of multimeter, soldering machine, breadboard, toolbox etc etc which total cost $120+ My wallet is shouting for HELP. Have to go work soon if this goes on.....

My wednesday timetables have changed to 8am to 12pm because i am taking dip plus math lol.

Lectures and tutorials for the first week really boring. Especially some propaganda module like "ONOW" for those from SP should know what is that and PEEE (Principal Of Electrical and Electronic Engineering) which currently re-teaching physics stuff like Voltage, Current and Resistance. Only new stuff i learnt is 1 C = 6 X 10^18 Electrons and more indept which how electron move between the positive and negative terminal. And PEEE lab session learnt to know the colour coding of resistor and use DMIM (Digital Multimeter) and some cool looking PSU (Power supply)

As for Digital Electronics, get to learn Binary, Hexadecimal and Octal Number System. Although we are suspose to learn those next few weeks. But thanks to Herman keep asking question and get to learn some stuff better than doing nothing and get bored.

As for Dip Plus math, learning how to solve determinant for 3X3, 4X4 matrixs and Mathematical Induction which JC student has learnt. One question have to prove the whole page. And the lecturer very cool and want us called her Quek Jie.

Teamwork Communication skill module is the module that actually interact alot. Crap and talk alot.

And i like my class, eat together, play together, study together and...... (guys stuff) Byron, Ash, Raj, Daniel, Herman, Sean, Cindy, Andria, Andy.

Saw quite a few long lost primary school friend like Tianjun, Cynthia and Chien Wei.

Met up with CH, WY, MY, JR after school during wednesday at Hilltop library before going watch Monga. I wonder what JR thinking after watching that movie for 3 times!

Thur after school play LAN with some of my classmates at Moberly.

Friday met up with EL, CH in SP, then LX at JP eat PepperLunch, accompany CH go back JSS to collect his testimonial and school magazine. Mine still not ready =.=

Saturday went for SPSU FOC gathering and left early cause having guitar lesson later. Really nothing to do at Sentosa Beach.

CCA showcase coming soon and i duno which CCA. Maybe go for some sport trial. Anyway sign up together with EL and CH for :Jeet Kune Do" Sport Elective Program. Intercepting Fist.

Good Luck for me tomorrow. Have to rush from T15 to T21 for jap lesson which have to climb "mountain" Heh.

And going to be intense for tomorrow onwards because i gues lots of tutorials and project work soon.

Finally got my class. DEEE/FT/1B/23! It was my temporary class but it become my permanent class for my 1 year of my course. :D Class of 20 students. 6 DPA students, 3 International Students from China, Indonesia and Myanmar, 16 guys and 4 girls (with 2 blur sotong girl). A class with rowdy and despo guys LOL, esp during the flag days and count the money part. Anyway thanks for those who welcomed me and keep shaking my hand once I get to know my class. No welcome party wor jkjk.

Flag day was alright just that me and byron kinda suay. Wrong location to station-ed plus the school allocated our class at a very wulu place. Bartley MRT. LOL! SPCA, Police Academy building around that area.

Didnt go for the Freshmen party as really crowded. Met up with some 4409 classmates and ate Pizza Hut for dinner. Had a fun time esp with CH around.

Finally my timetable is out and finalize. But it seems still have some problem. How am i suspose to attend 2 lecture at one time?? And both are math =.=

My timetable for now:

Monday: 10.30am to 5.30pm If jap class commence. Lesson all the way to 7.30pm without break

Tuesday: 10am to 4.30pm

Wednesday: 9.30am to 11am ( shortest!)

Thursday: 8am to 5.30pm (sien)

Friday: 8am to 12pm

Finally i am posting blog right?

These few days really shagged like siao. Back from SPSU Freshment Orientation Camp. The disco night during 2nd night was really awesome. Other than that, it just like Jurong Secondary SLC camp. Some stuff i dun really like. I thought Poly student union will be different from secondary school Student Council. I am wrong. Cheering? Greeting from rank by rank? I see no meaning behind it? If say increase bond between campers it just bullshit seriously.

Okay enough of saying about the negative part of the camp. The games really fun and facilitators were friendly EURYTHMICS!! Thats my group name :)

Sunday:

shag like siao and sleep like a log. At night play bball with MC and Andrew and usual 3V3 with others.

Monday:

First day of FOP was not bad. RIght now I still dun have any classes because I havent officially enrol into SP yet. Funny sia SP. One period of time no news from them, den suddenly tons of form for us to fill up. Tour around the SP keep crapping with DPA people and doing stunt during SPICE training cause we had done it b4.

Cant wait for tuesday activity although it was with my temporary class.

Saturday:

Went out with MC and Andrew. On the way met yuheng (long time pri sch classmates) Went to Queensway Shopping to get my Timbuk2 H.A.L backpack from the shop Bonkers Link. The uncle was nice enough to explain the stuffs and bought the backpack, cost me a bomb and damage $185 from my wallet. But really dam nice, comfy compartment for my thinkpad T410, big space for my dirty clothes and slippers if i get into any sport CCA and alot of cool compartment. Sort of a camping bag. Get to realise i am a Timbuk2 fan. I have 2 Timbuk bag right now. I am eyeing for that limited edition medium size messenger bag :)

Off track abit. Just get to know that my thinkpad T410 is a 3.5G model (from feng).

Then proceed to Bugis Street accompany Andrew buy his clothes. In the end i bought myself a bball shorts and a T-shirt. Eat alot of snacks and as usual. Keep talking cock nonstop.

Sunday:

Nothing to do at home. Watch autumn concerto, play Blackshot and watch TV.

Tomorrow going back school for camp briefing. Then accompany MC to Eunos to service his razer keyboard (so fast spoil and havent use for 1 mth =.=) If time permit, going back my old work place collect my comm.

Back to blogging after my rotting....

Tuesday and Wednesday really rotting big time. At home playing Blackshot and watching Autumn Concerto. Really a touching drama. Go watch if you have the time.

Wednesday night went gym with MC as he finally no work. Ran threadmill and usual weight exercise. Sux in pullup due to the fact i am gaining weight. Sigh

Thursday watched Clashes of The Titans. Too bad I watched the non-3D one.

Friday morning was playing blackshot. Afternoon playing bball with some JSS people. Finally after 1 month get to touch bball and my shooting really terrible.

Tomrrow maybe going Chamber play LAN with MC and Andrew, den get my laptop backpack and meet some ex-classmates for dinner.

Forget to remember the memories. Dun wish to end it.

Saturday went to my grandparents house to pray for my grandma. Hope she really came back and see us. Do miss her esp the time she nag at me. Den acc my mum do her bank stuff.

Although no school for me, I still head down to school to accompany joseph buy his laptop. Guess there will be quite a subtential amount of people using T410. Play pool at moberly with joseph, head down to Orchard to check some stuff and return back to school for the DPA party.
Awesome food, nice performance, see my classmates play pool and Counter-Strike. LOL
Esp when on thr way back home. gong gong Cindy keep suaning by us.

One of my lecturer say I should take up DEB (Diploma in Engineering with Business) or take economic related course instead of DEEE due to my interests in economic during my oral assessment. Quite true bah LOL.

Perhaps I should really enjoy and relax my 2 weeks break before the offical school term start. Esp nov-feb i was either working or camping or studying. And get ready to be FRESH.

This week was assessment week. Programming, Oral, Statistic and Marketing. The first 3 have been tested and left marketing. Lots of lecture notes to study....

Finally got my Thinkpad T410. Really a good machine and hope it accompanied me till my uni years. Will have picture and reviews on my Thinkpad soon after my test and I am currently using it to update my blog. :)

Guess next week i will be rotting... No school and work anymore. Sigh

I am wondering what if i accept my DSA offer. Will my life change alot? Will I enjoy the life at there and doing the stuff I like? Seeing the uniform do make me think whether did I do the right decision. No point crying over spill milk.

Quite a few of events happened from wednesday till now:

Wednesday:

Went to watch Kaiji at The Cathay with Joseph, Meiying, Yiyun And Wanyi. It was a nice movie indeed esp the cheating money part. :)
Den went to Sentosa without Joseph as he went to fix his phone. Played volleyball, basketball and little bit of soccer? LOL. Ate dinner at vivo and took bus 30 back home.

Thursday and Friday: ( Explorer Camp )
Thursday morning was busy doing e-learning. Late afternoon go explorer camp. I keep returning to JSS LOL. This year 2 standby bunk in one camp. Pity the juniors but for the seniors heh. Sleep at Explorer lab.
Friday nothing much only the camp fire was nice and i become media club ppl =.=
Overall kudos to the sec 4 explorers. A fun camp :)

Saturday and Sunday:
At home basically nothing to do, ate lunch with Javihn during his work at JP. And had lesson at the night. Not wise to use a acoustic guitar for a classical guitar lesson at all. Sunday just rot at home and had my hair cut finally after 2 months :)

Tomorrow onwards having assessment. I duno how are poly going to test us man. Programming, oral, statistic presentatiion and marketing??

Being kind is cruel to myself. Ought to be aggressive and explosive. That transaction point.

Let's blog about monday:

Met up with MC at clementi as he went to NP to collect his Thinkpad T410. Den went to Tiong Bahru collect my Sony Vaio pay. Dont know whether should i really continue work for Sony Vaio.
Trip down to Simlim square to collect his monster desktop. Took taxi home cause it was FREAKING heavy (comfirm more than 20kg) and it was raining.

Get back to his house help him setup his CCFL (lighting for the desktop), wiring and installing of OS and drivers. Andrew came over and help him reconfig his laptop into windows 7.
Later on play blackshot on his com. IMBA gaming experience.

No time do his laptop preview. Just that very solid laptop and ncie to use. Hope the 6-cell battrey dun dissappoint me. Dont know why Zhanhong T410 lasted only 2-3 hours.

Today:
Did some marketing reports, revise on the lecture notes and do some e-learning task. Sienn my razer diamondback mouse really spoilt leh.

back to blogging after a week:

Tuesday to friday:

Lesson was fine just that getting tutorials and project to work on.
Wednesday totally waste of our time. Just watch video about climate change then tour around SP to see their solar panel.

Thursday lesson learn about correletation, regression bla bla bla which i still duno how to apply the formula. Only know how to use excel to solve those statistic stuffs.
After lesson went back to JSS help the juniors in their RGP.

Friday afternoon went to Jurong Point for marketing research. Went my workplace and some other shop to do research. After that rush back to JSS to help their RGP again for their finals till 8pm.

By right they are not suspose into the Division 1 final. Please read further if u want to know the reason.

Saturday:
Early morning went funan ITmall see the junior's final. They managed to get first in division 1 with the fastest timing of 19.08 second. Break the time record of yesterday preliminary fastest timing. Btw their group name was uplorried =.= and other teams from division 1 were shocked.

During their preliminary round. 2 team from JSS was eliminated because of not completing the tracks. But the organiser need 6 team to get into final which only 5 completed it. So they "invited" one team from JSS to the final. And friday me and them were rushing the programming. The other teams from division 1 were shocked because 2 team from JSS in the prelimary round was really seriously CUI. And "uplorried" was the first team to run the track and it was the only team managed to complete the track less than 20 second.

After juniors competition, met MC go ITshow to buy his razer mouse, keyboard and Altec Lansing Speaker. Then accompany him go Ngee Ann poly order this Thinkpad T410. I am going to test his laptop after he got that.
At night had lesson again. Finger hurts.

Sunday:
Went to work at simlim square. No commments about today although i managed to sell 4 units. But realised some stuff. Cant judge the bookby its cover. Lots of politics going on.
Ordered MC desktop specs. His machine going to be powderful and i going to do a review on that tomorrow. i7 processor, HD5770 graphic card. 4 GB DDR3 Ram and CM 690 version 2 casing. DAM CHIO! Guess what? I am going to do something to that tomorrow!

This week is my e-learning week. No school for me but next week assessment.

Friday after school went back to Jurong Sec help out abit in junior's RGP competition. Finally after 3 years, they have change the track layout! Ate dinner at mac.

Rush to meet MC and Andrew at the gym. As usual talk alot of craps again and really have fun relaxing.

Saturday:

Morning went to MC house and manage to fix his desktop. Went to Chamber LAN shop at Douby Ghaut with MC for the whole straight 4 hours playing blackshot. The atmosphere kinda shiok but sit until backpain.
At night went for some lesson. My first time doing such stuff.

Sunday:
Went to my work at simlim square. Sigh the shop really short of manpower. No time to eat lunch and sit down. Suddenly that day i manage to sell 5 units. Return home really shagged.

Monday:
Today went through the last part of alice programming, then do lego robotics. This time cant use robolab, have to use NXT-G. lol.....

ITshow is coming. Anyone want to hoooot somestuff?. I aiming for Logitech MX series mouse!!
And I have been fixing com recently... One laptop, one desktop and another desktop to build if MC want to.

Thursday:

Facts and Lies in everyday life, the first lesson really teach about mean, median, mode and learn how to read graph. Abit interesting and the best part which most of the poly student love --> can go home early =.=

Friday:

Marketing module really like it alot. Interesting lecture and the way he teach really interactive! I am only anticipating monday and friday module.

Weekends:
Saturday night went to eat steamboat with family as my mum birthday.
Sunday evening out with MC and and andrew play bball. Play under the rain and talk alot of craps.

Monday:
Programming module again and use alice again...... At least learn more stuff but what i feel all icon based program are all the same, just in different form.

Tuesday:
Morning had oral assessment. After that went to Moberly play pool and Guitar Hero. Go home and watch TV =.=

Really a summarize update and finally poly laptop prices are out. I set my eye on Lenovo ThinkpadT410! The specs really good just that it was using Nvdia Qudro Graphic Card. But i may consider X201 because of the weight!!!! 1.4KG!!!!!

Finally my PPP module start and I guess some of the readers will be curious how was poly timetable look like this:

Wednesday: Robotic Enrichment

Friday: Essential of marketing

Up till now i am already getting restless from the lecture from the two module and one enrichment.

Monday:
Program Design was really interestting. Introduction of computer parts, binary code ( which some of us keep guessing the 1 and 0 from 1 to F) and programming such as Java, C++ and visualbasic. I wished i can learn that fast man but the 2nd part of the lesson was doing animation using Alice a teaching tool for programming. Some of us almost felt asleep. next week den learn visualbasic and flowchart i guess?
After lesson most of us go Moberly wheras me rush to meet joseph for job interview at funan IT mall. Sigh I can't work for IT show as I having my lesson on those days.......

Tuesday:
Called the module name so nice duno for what sia. Essential Speaking Skill was actually so called O level Oral =.= And i having assessment next week which counted into my GPA. Whole class was like complaining. The assessment was actually harder than O level oral section A which was reading aloud. Have to retell the story given to us in proper english....
The four of us (Desmond, Jasmine, Ming Yao and Me) translating those words in the worksheet from english to hokkien and keep laughing non stop. LOL.

Wednesday:
The robotics enrichment started at 2pm and ended at 3.30pm. Assemble the so called "floodgate" robot consisting of one motion sensor and 2 motors. Only the screwing parts was.....

I comfirm tomorrow module sure bored me to death. Heard from alwyn that the lecture keep emphasize mean median mode, mean median mode......

Started to miss secondary school teaching style. But i still like SP because theres so many food court and nice food :)

Chinese New Year over and this year I can't go visit my relatives except my grandparents.
Wednesday work at simlim square and really totally no mood to work. Festive season still on me :)
Thursday went out with Jo to check on some stuffs at Funan IT mall and his workplace. And stop at starbuck to chat some stuff.

Friday:

Went to peilin house again to do her house networking stuff. Finally it works and rush to meet with childcare friends. Unfortunately didn't get to meet up with Liang Laoshi but managed to chat with her awhile before she got up to the bus. Chatted with some old friends udner the void deck and went off.
Pool after that with yihao and Jo.

Today:

Woke up late and pay a visit at Mdm Tay house. Her house the "diamond" water so nice to drink hor (those who go should know what i meant). Played some cards, chat, eat den bid farewell. I guess she quite enjoying her retirement life without scolding anymore students and get to carry her grandchild soon.
Return home, watched TV, soccer, played com and rest..... Everton won Man U by 2 goals!!!!! Okay thats random. :)

Quite anticipating my school term start. Just received email from SP that every wed i have some robotics enrichment. There's go my rest day heh but it will be fun :)

these few days really up and down.

My grandma unfortunately pass away and these few days prepare for her funeral. Staying back overnight and get to know more of my mother's side cousins. The tradiation funeral was really grand and I do hope she will have a good life at the next dimension. I still never forget how she used to treat me since young. The nasi lemak, playground and everyday bring me to market... I believed she will be relieved seeing many of her child and grandchildren.

Finally i get sort of seeing the vast difference between JC and Poly. Really huge. Just wish I am self-control enough. Don't whether should i take on NYAA and a sport CCA.

I have been resting for a really long time. Should i get back to do the stuff I like again and chiong like last time? I still can't get back that particular feeling. Will they accept me again as I suddenly decide not to participate one particular competition.

Part-time job? Hmmmm i am still taking but not as much leh. Dun feel like burden my parents.

The funeral get to learn some stuff and I still have to fulfil a wish from my grandma. I promised I will.

Sometime i wish myself as a robot, with no feelings or bias toward anyone. Not getting hurt, not getting happy. Just an ordinary robot doing stuff from instructions and programs. And also not having ego or being selfish. How i wish Issac's 3 law of Robtics apply to human too.

Back from mawai 3 days ago. Quite a late update.

It was a A-we-Some camp. Although didn't get to know my group member well but i beleive we get to know each other in the future. Can't wait for monday dinner treat right after Festive Cheer at Yuhua from Raymond (our instructor aka Lao Niu)

First day whole body was covered with mud as we played mud volleyball, raft building and mud obstable course. Broke the monkey bar thanks to one of my grp mates LOL. At night watched fireflies around the island and star gazing session. Get to know my horoscope location and direction.

Second day climb mountain watched some beautiful scenery and had campfire at the night. 100 KG fall down ( inside joke) LOL.
Third day went trekking in the forests, dam muddy but in the end learnt some surviving skill. Get to eat some wild grass and play with lalang. Den after camp went to Bukit Idah for Sushi session. Alot of funny incident happens on the way trip back to Singapore Poly. Especially when me and some other 3 grp mates bought the cow figuring for raymond. Laugh like mad sia.

After get back to SP rush to NUH to see my grandma. Her condition getting worsen day by day.

Friday went to simlim square with peilin and her sister to buy self-assembled desktop. Sunbian went to my workplace to collect my commission. Helped her install all the software and do networking. Returned quite late i guess?

Saturday early morning went to NUH again. Den return home rest.

These few days i should say i am slacking?

Today morning accompany my mum visit my grandma who was in ICU. See her in that state really make me feel heartache. Many machines around her and she was still semi-unconcious. She was the one who bring me up from baby to about six years old. Hope she really struggle over her critical period. Life is really fragile.

Then went to bugis temple to pray for my malaysia trip (actually being forced by my mum). After praying proceed to simlim square buy some com parts. Actually it was for peilin cause her computer was spoilt, then one day checked her com and fount out her CPU fan not working. So bought a Coolermaster CPU fan from a shop selling old parts at 4th floor. Then bought a D-Link wireless G router from Bizgram, recommend from Lexus haha.

Went to visit my workplace to say hello, even help out to serve customer as really alot of people. Sigh i duno when i can work again. Then went back to JP as my mum was shopping for more clothes.

Get back home packed for my camp which will be at this tuesday.

After seeing my grandma. I started to be interested in biomedical. Seeing those sosphicated machines, wondering how they work really interests me. Perhaps I will choose to specialise in biomedical during my year 2 then robotics in year 3 to work on Final year Project. Something related to life.

I can't wait to get a laptop (hope it will be a thinkpad), doing autocad and programming for electronics. Researching on products and working on projects from days till nights. Hope my momentum will go on and on...........

Maybe it's time........ Letting go to discover other stuffs, other perspective. Thank for the days I will remember in heart. Perhaps if fate allow...... Hope u get into a course u like and concentrate on our stuffs.

Went for DPA orientation today and i almost late.. LOL overslept.

Lilstening to principal and lecturer talk then went to our respective school. For me i am under School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Get to know some DPA student in our school and had some so called IT training at the library registering our student ID.

I was selected for some Diploma Plus's Certificate in Engineering Math and Science and attended some briefing by the lecturer. Cool university engineer math. Don't should i take it or not as i still prefered to take Dip plus in Business.

After everything went Orchard shop for some clothes and returned home.

Friday and Monday working at simlim. This time my luck suck duno like lollipop. That time pronouced as MSI boy and this time round being killed by MSI. Everytime got customer want buy MSI netbook, either our stock the MSI's netbook got some defect or the customer don't want the display set. But managed to sell other brands... Lexus still as funny as usual. Always do some weird stunts with Vincent at opposite store.

Saturday and Sunday rotting at home playing game, surfing net and watch videos. Nothing interesting.

Today early morning met up with LX, Freida and Jo play badminton at Jurong east Stadium. Traching LX how to smash. LOL. Ate lunch at KFC and make my poly ezlink card. Sigh going to be adult fair after this month. Zzzzzzzz

Met up with our class guy played LAN at Safra. Played L4D2. Long time nvr play lol and walked a few round in JP with the guys.

Tomorrow will be the registration for my DPA. Finally polytechnic life! Actually quite anticipating it..... Cya

These few days working, sleeping, shopping, playing and outing.

Previous Saturday went for 26th SC gathering. Got my neck and nose burned :( Chat about some stuff at CY's block coffee shop till late night.

Working at simlim square still alright. Lol that day I happened to sell all 3 MSI Wind U100+E notebook and currently the shop was out of stock. So called that day i become MSI promoter -_- Yeah finally i proved myself i never bring curse to Nicole (another part-timer which always I was around, she has no sales). But that day she sold 2 units.

Yesterday finally bought my black puma shoe at cineleisure Definitely love it alot! Went to Science Centre to see the Body Work exhibition. This was the first time I go science centre without any competition and teachers accompany. Everytime go Science Centre either robotic competition or school excursion. Have some fun in science centre, then cineleisure to eat dinenr and dessert and vivo for the arcade.

Today afternoon met up with sham and sharon to eat lunch at pioneer mall den fixed sham's desktop at her house. Watched some koream drama and had some chat with her mum. LOL
Evening played bball near Justin's house. Maybe i really play too rough when play against some of us. Sorry maybe really not in the right mind.

Return back home and watched TV.

Finally gotten back my O level result. Unexpected result for me. At least my hardwork paid off. Gearing up for my poly life soon which my DPA orientation going to start on the 27th of jan.
That new scholarship getting further to get........ 2 more point ARGH!

Anyway the course I am taking is Electronic and Electrical Engineering at SP. I want to work hard and fully concentrate. Have to get a good GPA score for first semester!! and Diploma PLUS!

Tuesday and Wednesday working at simlim square were hilarious. One incident almost made me freak out when serving customer.... Maybe I will still continue working there when there's break from my poly.

Just bought my timbuk2 messenger bag. DAM FREAKING BIG. Heh Anyway going to sleep soon :)

First post of the year.

31th december:

Before reaching 12am. Met up with Cheng Yong, Nigel, KC and Johnston at Safra to play LAN and pool. Den talk cock with them at nearby coffee shop until 3am. Really talk alot of stuffs until very shag.

1st of jan:

Visit my grandparents with my family and bought a handphone case for my Omnia 2. Finally my Omnia 2 wun look so plain XD. Everytime visit them, both my parents and my grandparents always nag about my studies. Esp why i dun choose JC...... Anyway no matgter how much I explain they wun understand at all.

2nd and 3rd of jan:

First time working at simlim square during weekends. Definitely more customers than weekdays = more sales! saturday sold 3 laptops already not bad. Then sunday sold 5 laptops and all were acer. Feel like an acer boy that day and one customers just bought 3 acer laptop from me. So lucky!! But i do beleive in karma. There will be one period my sales will be dam bad bah. Talk alot of crap with Lexus and another part-timer. Dam cockster man.

4th of jan:

Morning went to buy some medication. Afternoon was either play com game or watch drama which sham borrowed me the disk. Watched until now bah

Tomorow going back to school to see my school orientation. Miss my school.....
